Postpartum Doula Service

Day hours minimum of 6 hours

  • Introduction to the Happiest Baby on the Block
  • Parents Handbook with one page summaries of everything you need to know in the first three months e.g. how much should the baby sleep, what does a gas attack look like etc
  • Suggested baby supply list of soothing products for the baby

Colic Management

Requires a minimum of 3 hour visit, 1.5 hours plan preparation and 2 hour follow up either by phone, Skype or Baby Connect (app) Total 7.5 hours

  • Review of options for treatment of colic
  • Education in origins of colic

  • Identification of mechanical measures that help reduce colic

Reflux Management

Sleep Management

Requires one overnight to observe sleep and soothing needs and a 2 hour follow-up visit.

  • Identification of measures that help infant develop healthy sleep patterns

Breastfeeding Management

Requires a visit with a minimum of 6 hours or an overnight visit.

  • Assessment of mother’s nipples and breast
  • Evaluation of infant’s feeding patterns

  • Review of the anatomy and physiology of breastfeeding
